Stuff to Do with Your Family








The holidays are approaching fast. Looking for something to do with your family? Here are a few suggestions that are either free or low cost. Thanks to Charity Miska, friend of The Children's Center.

1. Biograph Theatre in Chicago is performing "It's A Wonderful Life" from Nov. 27-Dec. 27. Here is the link:

2. Village Players Theatre in Oak Park is performing "Chad Morton's TV Christmas Miracle" from Dec. 3-20.   Here is the Link.

3. Christmas Around the World at the Museum of Science & Industry. The museum always looks nice with all the Christmas tress & decorations. You can always try to get the free passes from the library.

4. Zoo Lights at Lincoln Park Zoo on Dec. 11-Jan. 3 (closed on Dec. 24 & 25) from 5-9 pm. It's free!

5. Winter Wonder Fest at Naby Pier from Dec. 4-Jan. 3. Admission is free, but the purchase of a wristband is required for rides & attractions. Here is the link

6. Ice skating in Millennium Park. It is free if you have your own skates, or you can rent skates for $9.  Here is the Link.

7. Appollo Theatre in Chicago presents "A Nutty Nutcraker Christmas" from Nov. 14-Jan. 2. I think tickets for this show are about $15.  Here is the Link.

8. Victorian Christmas Tours at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio in Oak Park. Free on Dec. 19. Here is the Link.

9. Wonderland Express at Chicago Botanic Garden from Nov. 27-Jan. 3, 10 am-7 pm daily. Here is the Link.

10. Christkindlmarket in Daley Plaza from Nov. 26-Dec. 24. It's free to look around. Here is the Link.
